Missing practices

What are the rules for the fall on how long we must play a player in a game? I have had 4 practices and 1 player has not shown up at all. I feel that if this continues that I should only have to play that player 1 quarter. Is this correct?

Missing practice

Thanks for the comments.

missing practice

I think it is fair to play the players who are dedicated to the sport and practice. Therefore, the player who cares not to show to the practices, but only the games should be played less quarters than the player that goes to practice. No matter if that particular player who is missing practice is a great soccer player. He or she needs to be at practice and work hard just like the rest of his or her team mates.

Hope this helps.

This is something you might

This is something you might want to talk to John about, but I believe if it is as a punishment you do not have to play the player.

why punish the player

just remember you are holding accountable a young player who has no control on getting to practice. this needs to be addressed with the parent.also remember the player has payed to play.everyone must play 2 quarters.ultimately this is a board decision.dont punish the young player im sure his or her heart is into practice.
